Wherever you are, you can help!
Some vocal religious groups are claiming that our faiths require us to vote based on a narrow set of issues and values. We need to stand up as progressive people of faith and call Americans to vote ALL their values, including truth at all times, justice for all people, and community among all nations and faiths.
The election on November 2nd may be the most important election of our lives, but millions of people, including many of those most affected by unjust government policies, will not show up to vote on election day. By making phone calls, you can help ensure that participation in our democracy is an opportuniuty not lost to those you contact.
Be assured that making these calls is a nonpartisan activity in that the names to be called were not generated in a partisan manner, nor will anyone who receives a call be urged to vote in a particular way. Vote ALL Your Values is stressing the importance of civic participation to these newly registered voters, many of them people of relatively low income who had given up on the political process.
