Join our friends of the SF Valley Interfaith Network in the afternoon / evening, after a morning participating in either the Rally to support the national Immigrants' Freedom Ride at L.A. City Hall or the Walk for Hope in Huntington Beach. See below... Saturday September 20, 2003 San Fernando Valley Interfaith Network and ICUJP 3:00 pm 5:00 pm 6:00 pm Northridge Saturday September 20, 2003 Kick-off Rally at Los Angeles City Hall West Lawn Inspired by the Freedom Riders of the Civil Rights Movement, immigrant workers and their allies will set out from nine major U.S. cities and cross the country in buses in late September 2003. more information: Saturday September 20, 2003 BeTheCause presents Huntington State Beach The Walk for Hope is designed to build inspiration around the 2nd anniversary of 9/11. The Walk is a volunteer-driven effort being orchestrated as a collaborative effort among many groups. Organizations representing various causes are asked to showcase their exhibits. September 20th will be about progress; it will be about a 5-kilometer Journey into Kindness. Presented by: Awareness Magazine, Amnesty International, The Aware Show, ASHA (LA), S.A.R.A.H, Alliance for Spiritual Community, Church of Religious Science (H.B.), California Sikh Council, Unitarian Church (Anaheim), Brahma Kumaris, Sat Nam Rasayan, Full Spectrum Yoga . to register and for more information: Sunday September 21, 2003 Rev.
